This week’s Random Act of Kid-ness comes to us from Cedaregde, CO, where 15 year old J.D. TenNapel risked his life to save the lives of his neighbors. When a fire in his neighborhood started to spread quickly due to wind, he got on his ATV and warned all of his neighbors about the fire. J.D. suffered second degree burns on his back, legs, and arms. He said:
“It’s hard to sleep because I keep waking up thinking about how bad it could have been. I can’t stop thinking about it.”
What an act of bravery! Read more about J.D.’s story and the Cedaredge fire here.
